2023 emerged as an exceptionally good year for Bollywood films as well as it’s some makers and stars. The box office kept ringing after a Covid-19-induced lull which lasted a good three years post the opening of theatres. While the makers minted thousands of crores with many big-ticket hits, 2024 too looks promising. There are films like ‘Merry Christmas’, ‘Main Atal Hoon’ and ‘Fighter’ scheduled to release in January 2024. February and March 2024 will see ‘Section 108’, ‘Soorarai Pottru’ remake starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’, Ajay Devgn’s yet untitled film, ‘Yodha’, ‘The Crew’, ‘Metro… In Dino’. Moving ahead are ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’, ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha!’, ‘Chandu Champion’, ‘Singham Again’, ‘Stree 2’, ‘Jigra’, ‘Sky Force’, ‘Deva’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, ‘Chhava’ and ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ among others. Some of these projects may change dates as per their completion but looking at the big canvas they are mounted on, the future looks bright from cinema lovers.
