Yami Gautam has been summoned to appear before the Mumbai unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), following alleged irregularities under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The newly-wed actress has been asked to appear before the investigating agency next week for questioning and to record her statement in connection to the alleged foreign money transactions in her bank account. Yami had hit headlines last month when she married ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ director Aditya Dhar in an intimate wedding ceremony held at her farmhouse in Himachal Pradesh. She recently returned to Mumbai and has resumed shooting for her upcoming film, ‘A Thursday’ since then. The thriller is being directed by Behzad Khambata and also features Neha Dhupia, Atul Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.
